Social media continues to be the place for the petty, the pitiful and the straight up disrespectful. That’s something Power actor Omari Hardwick learned when users verbally assassinated his wife, former publicist Jennifer Pfautch.
The couple was spotted enjoying lunch over the weekend at a New York eatery with their son, when they were snapped by the paparazzi. After the photos appeared online, Omari’s mentions were bombarded with hateful and vile comments about his wife, from people who felt he could “do better.”

With so many artificial looking women out there can you blame the man. Besides, if she makes him happy who cares about her race or appearance. Guyyyss, I’m really confused caffe here. Who brought up race? About 95 percent of the comments I saw were aimed towards her looks. Unfortunately, that’s what happens when you’re in the public eye. You get criticized for whatever reason and no one is exempt. She makes him happy, great… I’m sure she’s a beautiful person. Him loving her is all that matters because that’s HIS’ wife. But she’s caffe not aesthetically pleasing to most and I don’t get where all this “it’s because she’s white” talk is coming from.
I don’t know if the terrible comments caffe were directed caffe at him for dating outside of his race or if it was more looks. Either way it’s unfortunate. What I will say though is that I think some black women get upset at black men dating outside their race because for the most part black women are loyal and date within the race. In the media we are more bombarded with the images of black men dating white women narrative. This presents a problem to some black women especially if it is perceived the black man does this after getting caffe famous or successful.
