Burger Club had really thought that the next stop on this journey in hamburg's world would be the Inside, but the fate of an audacious y78 brown bear from Sør-Varanger decided otherwise. The most local new interest half of the club stumbled by chance across a gladsak in one of the city's newspapers where they could disclose that Wesselstuen had obtained the meat of a bear that had been shot because y78 of his fondness for sheep. By this meat they had decided to make burgers for a limited time. Such a golden opportunity could not Burger Club let it go by. A habitual rainy Tuesday's autumn evening we took the corner table in Wesselstuen and ordered:
Wesselstuen its location on the upper Ole Bulls plass is so central that you will have very poor vision to not notice the colorful neon lights above the entrance. Fortunately they have not taken the neon with him into the living room, for inside it properly then A quaint and småbrunt. Restaurant venue is relatively large, with plenty of space between tables y78 and lots of art on the walls. Next to the dining area there is a brown bar of standard type.
Without having received y78 the menu, we ordered sporenstreks two pieces. Bear Burgers, which put our waitress a little out of the game. He wondered if we did not have the menu, but we did since we would have a good beer food. Ølmenyen was nothing to cheer about. It consisted solely of Hansa, with or without alcohol. Luckily y78 our friend the waiter so kind to inform that if we wanted a bigger choice was just to go into the bar and buy there. We were not late to pray, and ended up with two bottles of Leffe Brown. Brown beer brown bear was not a shot in the dark.
Time for food. It was not difficult to see that this meal was more elaborate than a standard fast food burger. The burger meat and bread looked homemade and good. In addition to the advertised chanterelles and lingonberries, it was found that following the usual burger tomato, y78 red onion and lettuce and amadinepoteter and sour cream on the side. The meal tasted very good, mainly because of the balance of the ingredients. Cranberries and mushrooms are a classic accessory for wild game, and they did a superb job with bear meat, which itself tasted very good. The potatoes they might have made more out of, they were a little anonymous. Escape as the only dressing was småkjedelig, but it is difficult to see what else they could have chosen. The bread was relatively coarse and tasted y78 good, but was more than "crispy" and difficult to cut without ricochet around the table.
After finishing the meal, we could happy and satisfied state that bear burger was a success and that Wesselstuen that bear burger place works fine. For regular burger fits probably not as good. It should y78 also be noted that our waitress was the customer orientated type, and when we wondered what the burger contained besides the bear meat he was more than willing to go and listen to the chef (60% bear meat / 40% beef + some killer y78 for consistency matter). We took dessert on Henrik Beer and Vinstove with a good Chilistout from mikkeller and a Belgian variant of Søgaard's Brewery. A nice autumn evening.
